NO HAUL - NO BURN
Mulching

  • Capable of mulching windrows and site debris. No need for tub grinders or burn pits.
  • No Damage to wanted large growth trees, very little disturbance to grasses and topsoil.
  • Cuts off brush and stumps even with the ground, leaving root systems to compost naturally.
  • Mulches all removed vegetation, leaving no brush piles to burned or hauled away

Bulldozing & Burning

  • Bulky, heavy and not usable on small properties or close spaces.
  • Cuts deeply through topsoil and can leave ruts and holes, destroys grass and roots.
  • Tears stumps, rocks and roots from the ground, creating sink holes that have to be leveled or filled.
  • Unsightly brush piles are left behind and must be hauled away or burned

Should You Clear with Mulchers or Traditional Bulldozing?

Mulching clears overgrown vegetation and restores property without the inherent dangers of burning or the expense of hauling to rid property of refuse. It increases property value through soil enrichment, water conservation and erosion control and can restore habitat and pasture without destruction to grasses, topsoil and desirable plant species. Since mulchers cut saplings and brush off at ground level, there are no stumps to burn or pull out.

Burning piles of brush get extremely hot and leave a scar at the site of the pile and in the surrounding area. They become so hot in fact, that they burn several inches below topsoil level, sterilizing the ground and killing everything in it. Topsoil contains vital nutrients, living microbes, oxygen and nitrogen that plants need to survive. Seeds germinating just beneath the soil are also destroyed during a burn. Scars from burn piles can cause soil sterilization and damage that can last for up to three years. The flames, heat and smoke from brush piles damage not only the immediate area but can also destroy damage and weaken nearby trees that are still standing. Many areas prohibit burning altogether due to the inherent dangers it presents and the amount of damage it causes to environmental balance.
Home of the Big Boys

Our machines have very low ground pressure so as not to create ruts and unsightly tracks within the property. Mulching adds much needed moisture content and leaves the property with a “park like” effect. As we “cover as we go”, there is no need to worry about runoff as the mulch covers the area, leaving little to no exposed dirt for an unsightly appearance or erosion.
